“Idiot America”

Created during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, this painting is a direct response to the ignorance and misinformation that surrounded the crisis. It critiques those who dismissed scientific facts and spread unverified claims, often fueled by television and online narratives. The piece serves as both a commentary and mockery, highlighting the consequences of blindly following misleading information rather than questioning, learning, and seeking truth. Through this work, I challenge the viewers to reflect on the importance of critical thinking, especially in moments of uncertainty.
