In Her Memory

This print is a deeply personal tribute I created to mark the anniversary of my cousin Keyasiah’s passing. She tragically died at a young age due to SIDS, and I wanted to honor her memory with this piece. The print captures a delicate and poignant moment, symbolizing both the innocence and fragility of life. I used soft, ethereal imagery blending light and shadow to reflect the fleeting nature of life and the lasting impact of her absence. The texture of the print mirrors the tenderness and fragility I feel, while the marks I made during the process express both my grief and the love I continue to carry for her. This print is my way of remembering and honoring Keyasiah, turning my sorrow into a visual tribute that keeps her memory alive.
